Working centrifugal fan made with Dimension BST 3D printer


Working centrifugal fan and motor actuated butterfly damper made with a dimension BST 3d printer / rapid prototyping machine. The fan is belt driven and capable of producing about 1.5 inches (H20) of static pressure.

    i want a 3d printer but it works by melting plastic !?!?!?!?!

    The 3D Printer doesn’t melt the plastic, it heats the plastic up to a moldable state. It then extrudes the plastic layer by layer building the model up from nothing. The result is a durable working model like you see in the video. You can add electronics, drill, tap and even paint your finished model.
