Fabrication of a Centrifugal Pump


This video shows the steps to fabricate a simple centrifugal pump. The pump is fabricated by teams of two students in ENGR 120 at Louisiana Tech University. The entire pump is modeled using solid modeling software, and each student team’s impeller is rendered on a rapid prototyping machine from ABS plastic.
