this is not a god of war clone whoever thinks that haven’t played this or god of war or both the combat system is completely different and i don’t know why i have to tell you seriosly the only thing i can think that is alike is that they both are badass and comparing spiderman to prototype is like comparing a flower to godzilla it just doesn’t work in spider man the only thing similar is that it’s a snadbox freerome game(i know i can’t spell but i don’t care)

@OXD100 I really couldn’t care less if they copied God of War or Spiderman (I don’t think they did). As long as they produce an equally or entirely better game I am happy.
No, you basically summed it up. LOL…I just bought the game…save your money! Graphics are cool and all, but man, the alien bosses take FOR-EVEEEEEEEEEEEER to kill! It gets to the point where it’s not even fun, because you’re shooting, and shooting….and shooting….and shooting…until you even get HALF WAY to killing an alien Level-Boss. I guess if you like firing 89,000 rounds at one bad guy, while getting killed 47 times, then this game’s for you. LOL

@xneedemotionsx I know all of that. I know generator rex came later! I know those things you mentioned about god of war and spider man are true! But what you dont know is that I said this because in generator rex weapons are formed out of his body. With God of War I was refering to the reckless destruction. And spider man WOS his acrobatics. Mix all of that together and you get what? PROTOTYPE!!! Stop looking at the obvious and look deeper into the elements of everything explained.

Generator rex was out waya after this game came out, it is none relation to that anime what so ever, there is no blood and gore in it like this, and god of war is fighting gods and regianing your power, this game is a game of revenge and trying to find out who made you that way, and spider man is a hero not someone who seeks revenge and again in spider man no blood and gore. Its nothing like those three things you metioned.
