Dimension 3D Printer in Action

Dimension SST 1200es 3D printer prints out 2 interlocked cube frames. “Dimension 1200es 3D Printers use ABSplus™ modeling material, a production-grade thermoplastic that is durable enough to perform virtually the same as production parts. Models are printed from the bottom up with precisely deposited layers of modeling and support material. There’s no waiting for models to cure — they’re ready for support removal right from the printer.”

Our company is using this technology to replicate body parts (primarily spines and skulls) for pre-surgical planning (typically for scoliosis, kypohosis, and craniosynostosis cases). Our models have also been used in personal injury legal cases.

You can follow our YouTube channel (ACRMcorp) or visit our main website (ACRMcorp [dot] com).

You can also see actual patient pathology cases (and purchase 3D models) at Medical3Dmodels [dot] com.

@jds7110 This part took about 3 hours to print, and another 2 to dissolve the remaining support materials.

how long did it took to print this thing?

  • wowonice1:

that thing must need to store a hell of a lot of data to remember all of the movements and more for the materials. nice music :-] i want 1 so bad.

i am a junior in high school and i just got a job with a major company to use this machine to prototype parts. The machine and catalystex are really amazing and fun, i just built two clips in solidworks and they are waiting for me done in the printer as i type this……into the dissolver tank in the morning!!!
