Before u know this ‘ll be the machines printing out robots quite fast! Man is really destroying himself…
@BrokenAtari Microchip companies already use a printing process for their chips in silicon based plates. Without printing, modern <60 nm microchips would be impossible.
@GodlessMartyr666 maybe the weight of the particles prevents them from becoming considerably airbone (theres a lot more gravitational force acting on the particles of a heavy metal than simple cellulose dust that Brownian motion might not apply)
@mikeccuk2006
Probably make it yourself with an ion beam or an electron displacement machine.
@BrokenAtari
where/how can you make a 22nm 3d printer nozzel?
That must be somehow the smallest needle.
@BrokenAtari NOPE, intel makes their processors in a extremely clean environment.
@BrokenAtari “think” & “intel” at the same sentence?
Stainless-steel powder, Don’t breathe this!
This is genius..
Think Intel could print their 3D processors with this?
o_O u could easily print weapons at home
Hand that shit over to a real bike designer and see what we get!
this possible to make a gun that will no break?
For production, a mold probably better. but for making a copy from a 3d scan it is incredible!
“Metal 3D printing is much faster than conventional methods in just fraction of the cost”. That’s only true if you want one or two of them. BS otherwise.
I hardly think its safe to handle that steel with your bare hands, let alone breathe it without a mask on. Even an N95 would be sufficient.
Beleive me, I work in a bakery and I can promise you after much exposure and research on the subject that super fine micro particles ( dust, spores etc.. ) inhabit the air current up to ninety metres around the source , especially with agitation.
That gentleman is either brave or VERY ignorant to handle this powdered steel without gloves and a mask…
